Bone Fish

Bone fishing can be enjoyed year round. However, the grade of success - as well as demand placed on both the skill and the patience of the guest - will depend, to some degree, on the time of the year, with regards to weather patterns (wind, water, temperatures, etc.). Travel - 'organized' routines seem to send bone ffiishing clients to the Islands in the 'cool' months, but in fact daily variations of wind and water conditions render just about ANY day a good bone fishing day, as long as the average weather is positive! Average school of Bonefish sighted per day: 10-12, with 40-100 per school. Average Bonefish caught per day:  3-15, from 2-15 lbs!

Rates

From May 15th, 2009
Full day Bone fishing $700,-- per day (max. 2 persons per skiff)
Half day Bone fishing $350,-- (max. 2 persons per skiff)
(usually 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - depending on tides)

1. All Rates includes fishing equipment which is provided by Bonefish Jermaine or you can bring your own fishing equipment
2. When booking reservations PLEASE leave ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE, NAME, and PLACE OF RESIDENCE INFORMATION (THIS FOR THE ISLAND ONLY)!

Groups:
Bonefish Jermaine  can accommodate 4 persons (2 per boat)
Other guides can be arranged for total of max. 8 persons

The Flats News & Weather

Bonefish Jermaine offers a wide variety of superb flats. The majority of bone fishing is done in the flats of Harbour Island, North Eleuthera, Man Island & Spanish Wells.   Additional sites includes the North Eleuthera Sounds, and The Pigeon Island Flats. A 3 to 10 minute ride to reach the flats in Harbour Island & North Eleuthera; A bit further to the north:: Spanish Wells & Man Island - 15 to 25 minute boat ride.   All sites are natural ecosystems that not only possess great bonefishing opportnities, but are also known for their other beauties: A harmonious blend of mangrove thickets, smaller individual bays, sojourn a 'mix' of fishing (bottom), an easy break from the excitement and demands of bone fishing.
